Cavalio Floors should not be installed where the temperature will exceed 27° C, therefore subject to the floor covering having no direct contact with any of the hot stove parts Cavalio would be suitable for this type of installation.

These designs are created by you personally or to your own specification, and manufactured to order. All borders can be created using any colour combination from the Terreni or Vitarra range providing endless opportunities to compliment your colour scheme. It is advisable not to mix colours from two ranges due to the differences in thickness.

What is the difference between Design Strips and Feature Strips?

Strips can add definition to a floor, if required, to create the appearance of grouting and highlight a tiled or plank area, or they can simply be added to create or compliment a feature such as metallic or contrasting wood line to personalise your floor.

Design Strips are cut from luxury vinyl tile and is therefore the same construction as the tile itself. Feature Strips come in contemporary solid colours and are strips of pvc manufactured to the same thickness as the tile or plank product.

Each range has a different wear layer – this is the durable polyurethane layer applied during manufacturing which determines the life expectancy, and guarantee, of each product given normal wear and tear.

Ceramica: 0.10mm wear layer – 10 year guarantee
Terreni: 0.35mm wear layer – 12 year guarantee
Vitarra: 0.55mm wear layer – 15 year guarantee

Are Cavalio Floors slippery?

Cavalio floors have good slip resistance when the floor is clean and dry. However as with other smooth floor coverings, water and other liquids can make them slippery. Clean up spillages immediately to help prevent slippery areas.
